System Administrator – Missoula

The Systems Administrator position provides support in collaboration with the IT team and information governance to ensure the efficiency and security of all City systems, including servers, firewalls, email management, network access, endpoint protection, and backup systems.

This position is part of a formal Career Ladder;  Most newly hired staff will be hired in as a System Administrator 1, and then progress to levels two, and three.  New hires with prior experience will be placed at the appropriate step, but it will be up to the candidate to provide an extensive review of their previous training and experience inside their application materials. The current salary ranges for the career ladder are as follows:
Level I:  $53,560 to $62,400
Level II: $57,553.60 to $66,892.80
Level III: $60,881.60 to $71,697.60
