The Montana Department of Commerce Announces the CDBG CARES (CDBG-CV) Grant Application is Now Open!

Through the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act, the State of Montana was awarded Community Development Block Grant (CDBG CARES or CDBG-CV) funds to support communities as they respond to the COVID-19 pandemic. The CDBG CARES grant application is now open. The deadline to apply is September 15, 2021, 5:00 p.m. All towns, cities, and counties in Montana can apply for CDBG CARES funding to support public facility, public service, or housing/homelessness projects that prevent, prepare for, or respond to the COVID-19 pandemic. Other entities – such as tribes or nonprofits – can apply in partnership with a town, city, or county.
