MLIA Grant Program Now Accepting Applications for FY2021 Deadline Tuesday, February 18, 2020

02/06/2020

The Montana State Library is now accepting applications for the annual Montana Land Information Act (MLIA) Grant Program for the state fiscal year 2021. The deadline for submitting applications is Tuesday, February 18, 2020, at 11:59 p.m. The purpose of the MLIA Grant Program is to assist state agencies, local governments, or Indian tribal governments with implementing the priorities of the Land Information Plan. Collaboration is extremely important, and the granting process gives preference to interagency or intergovernmental grant requests whenever multiple state agencies, local governments or agencies, or Indian tribal governments or tribal entities have collaborated together to meet a requirement of the Land Information Plan. Applicants should read the FY2021 Land Information Plan prior to starting the grant application process, in order to understand the defined Land Information Priorities for the state of Montana: FY2021 Land Information Plan. A major enhancement to the MLIA Grant Program is the adoption of the state’s Montana Grants and Loans online grant/loan management system, referred to as “WebGrants.” The Montana State Library will be using the online WebGrants grant management system for the MLIA Grant Program’s FY2021 grant cycle. All applicants will now be required to complete and submit their applications using this system. Any applications submitted in any other format will not be considered for funding.
  • Apply online through WebGrants: funding.mt.gov
  • All applications must be received by Tuesday, February 18, 2020, at 11:59 p.m.
