The City of Bozeman Water Reclamation Facility team is excited to be accepting applications for a Water Reclamation Facility Operator. The ideal candidate will be passionate about protecting the East Gallatin River through the collection and testing of water samples and the operation and maintenance of a variety complex mechanical equipment including pumps, compressors, blowers, boilers, turbines, vehicles, and electrical systems in assigned division.

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or GED; and
At least two years formal training or education beyond high school in Water Quality Technology, Biology, Chemistry, or a closely related field (Associates Degree is preferred); and
Some (1-3 years) experience in lab work or water analysis; and
Some (1-3 years) experience working with mechanical systems and equipment, including operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair; or
Any combination of experience and training which provides the equivalent scope of knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform the work.
