Jerry Grebenc, CFM

Land Use Services Director

Jerry has been working in land use planning and community development in Montana for over 26 years. During that time, he has held various positions including serving as a county community development director, program manager for Community Technical Assistance Program and Planning Bureau Chief at the Department of Commerce, several years in the nonprofit sector working on conservation and community planning projects and most recently 10 plus years at Great West Engineering assisting local governments.

In his role at the League, Jerry provides technical assistance including guidance on statutes, case law, and legislative changes. He also reviews and comments on local land use plans, ordinances, and regulations, and conducts onsite and virtual training tailored to individual community needs.
