Municipal Finance Accountant

Tom Frownfelder joined Montana League of Cities and Towns in August 2025 as an Executive Assistant but has recently transitioned to the Municipal Finance Team. Tom served the City of Choteau as the Clerk for five years and Finance Officer for two years, where he also obtained his Certified Municipal Clerk certification. He also serves as the Secretary for the Montana Municipal Clerks, Treasurers & Finance Officers Association (MMCT&FOA), a position he was re-elected to for a second two-year term and is also the chair of the website committee. He has spent almost half of his life in Montana, spending nine years in Big Sky, and eleven years in Choteau.
