MBCC is seeking applicants for
#21-07 (CV) Coronavirus Emergency Supplemental Funding (CESF).

What is the Coronavirus Emergency Supplemental Funding (CESF) Program?
The U.S. Department of Justice has established the CESF program to assist eligible states, local units of government, and tribes in preventing, preparing for, and responding to the coronavirus.
The Montana Board of Crime Control (MBCC) has received $250,000 in pass-through funds for eligible COVID-19 related priorities. The maximum dollar amount for which any applicant may apply is $50,000.
Who is eligible to receive CESF?
Entities eligible to apply for CESF from the MBCC are: units of city, county, and tribal governments.
What can be purchased with CESF?
Funds awarded under the CESF Program must be utilized to prevent, prepare for, and respond to the coronavirus within city, county, and tribal detention facilities or jails.
Allowable projects include, but are not limited to, overtime, equipment (including personal protective equipment), hiring, supplies (such as gloves, masks, sanitizer), training, travel expenses (particularly related to the distribution of resources to the most impacted areas), and addressing the medical needs of inmates in city, county, and tribal jails, and detention centers.
No other use of funds is permitted.

Entities with eligible needs should visit the MBCC website to apply under the “#21-07 (CV) Coronavirus Emergency Supplemental Funding (CESF)” non-RFP solicitation.
Coronavirus Impact Survey
To qualify for CESF, applicants must complete the Coronavirus Impact Survey. Upon completing the survey, you will be emailed a copy of your survey responses. You will be required to submit a copy of the email containing your survey responses as a part of your CESF application to MBCC.
