Jennifer H. Olson
Interim Executive Director
Jennifer joined Montana League of Cities and Towns in July of 2024 as the organization's first Government Affairs Director with over two decades of experience working at the Federal, State, and local non-profit levels. She started her career with a community action organization providing resources, then worked at the Montana Department of Commerce leading housing, infrastructure, and other community development programs, and before joining the League worked at the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development connecting federal resources to individuals and communities. Jennifer has dedicated her career to public service focusing on building coalitions to achieve common goals through supporting, advocating, and collaborating with individuals, organizations, and communities. Jennifer now serves as the League's Interim Executive Director maintaining the organization's strong momentum in supporting Montana's cites and towns. Jennifer was a military brat but has called Montana home for several decades and is proud to be an MSU Bobcat. She and her husband live in Helena and enjoy fly fishing, hiking and any board game that provides an opportunity to spend time with their three adult children.
