GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

Under the direction of the Mayor, the Chief of Police, and the Public Works Supervisor, performs a variety of routine, non-critical public safety and clerical duties related to animal control, as well as a variety of skilled and semi-skilled tasks in maintenance, construction, and repair of park facilities for the City of White Sulphur Springs. These tasks include but are not necessarily limited to: enforcement of animal control ordinances; responding to citizen requests for service or complaints; non-emergency responses to animal control issues; maintaining official records; performing minor repairs to equipment, troubleshooting equipment issues, operating various equipment, and tasks related to maintaining parks and park facilities.
